The first stop is Lake Argyle Resort for a swim in the famous infinity pool, lunch and a beverage, then fly alongside the breathtaking Cockburn Range before landing at El Questro Station for a snack, drink and some down time at The Swinging Arm Bar. The final stop for the afternoon is the Hoochery Distillery, Western Australia’s oldest continuously operating (legal) still. Here you’ll enjoy a private tour, rum tasting and snack paddle before returning with a scenic flight over Kununurra as the sun makes its way to the horizon, lighting up the spectacular Ord River.

      EL QUESTRO STATION

      Fly from Home Valley Station to El Questro Station

      Β Once you depart from Home Valley Station, you’ll be welcomed with unsurpassed aerial views of the Pentecost River Crossing and mighty Cockburn Range. Your pilot will track east, en route to the second stop of the tour, the iconic El Questro Station.

      This property spreads across 700,000 acres of vast, largely unexplored and stunningly beautiful terrain. Home to rugged sandstone ranges, impressive gorges and permanent waterfalls, this Kimberley oasis is on the must-visit list for many travellers.

      Nestled on the banks of the Pentecost River, The Station is the busy central hub of El Questro. You will land here to visit the Swinging Arm Bar for a beverage and cheese plate to share while enjoying the atmosphere of another iconic Aussie outdoor bar.

      THE HOOCHERY DISTILLERY

      Β The final stop of the day is at Kununurra’s Hoochery Distillery to indulge in 100% Australian rum made in WA’s oldest operating legal still.

      Your visit to the Hoochery Distillery includes a private tour, rum tasting paddle, 50ml souvenir bottle of rum to take home and valley snack paddle comprised of Popped Sorghum (instead of corn), Rum Infused Beef Jerky and Spiced Roasted Chickpeas.

      Made from nothing but Australian sugarcane, waterfall season rainwater and yeast, The Hoochery Distillery’s Ord River Rum is made by hand, even today.
