On 9th November at the Western Australian Tourism Awards Kununurra’s Slingair Heliwork WA won the hotly contested category of Major Tour and Transport Operators.

Accepting the GOLD award, Sonja Mitchell, Sales and Marketing Manager, acknowledged the input of the whole team at Slingair Heliwork WA and urged the crowd of approximately 1000 black tie guests to visit the Kimberley, recently listed at number 2 in the Lonely Planet Guide’s Top 10 destinations in the WORLD. The helicopter division of the business is now know as HeliSpirit.

It has been 10 years since Slingair Heliwork WA was inducted into WA Tourism’s Hall of Fame following 7 years of stellar wins and the current win shows that this high achieving WA tourism business has maintained its quality of product and professional business practices over time.

Offering a suite of over 25 varied air safari options to spectacular Kimberley destinations by plane or helicopter, there is a flight for everyone to enjoy. Sold all over the world by a network of agents, Slingair’s tours become a major part of a visitor’s itinerary to the Kimberley.
