Helicopter filming and photography
Aerial filming and photography Western Australia.
The Kimberley, Western Australia, is a photographer’s dream location. With endless spectacular scenery and vivid colours and shapes that call out to be saved on film. Helicopter filming and photography is a task we do a lot of.

Skilled pilots
We have a number of helicopter pilots who are trained in aerial filming and photography. The training includes being proficient in slow flight and understanding what the photographer wants. As photographers are creative people, there is something different required each time and our pilots are trained to be able to listen and deliver the goods. Just recently we have taken Alex Bell from Sunday Sunset images to locations where he captured beautiful scenery on film. He was thrilled and has shared images on his social media sites and wrote this review:
I’ve done some amazing things in my life and today is right up there. Landing in a remote location in the Kimberley to photograph a hidden waterfall and gorge. Out of this world. A huge thank you to Debs from HeliSpirit for being the most amazing pilot

Seven helicopter bases
We have helicopters based at Kununurra, Warmun, El Questro, Bungle Bungle, Mitchell Falls, Lake Argyle Resort and Katherine Gorge. These are all stunning locations in their own right. You can take your helicopter filming and photography flight from all our bases. This saves you money as there is no wasted ferry time to reach the location.

Varied fleet
If your requirement is to film a TV fishing show, and you have a cameraman, a sound guy, a producer and the presenter to locate to a remote location, then we will use the Bell Longranger helicopter as it has greater payload capacity and greater range. If you wish to do aerial filming and photography , then the Robinson R44 would probably be the best helicopter to use as it is quick and efficient with great visibility. These are some examples and there are many more options, so call us and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
