Day 1

Kununurra to Bullo River Station – Northern Territory

Lift off from Kununurra and soar over the Ord River Irrigation Area past the huge oasis of farms creating a maze of colours. View the mini bungles in the township of Kununurra, Mirima National Park. Fly low across the border into the Northern Territory, past the Keep River National Park. You may be lucky enough to spot a large estuarine crocodile lazing on the muddy banks of the Keep River. Land at a remote waterfall for a swim and morning tea. Enjoy the serenity and picturesque surroundings before re-boarding your helicopter for your short flight to your destination, Bullo River Station. View some spectacular pastoral land & grazing cattle before landing on the lawn at the Station homestead. Meet your Bullo River hosts who will help you choose your activities for the day, maybe a day filled with dust, sweat and the exhilaration of station life. Or spend the day exploring stunning landscapes, waterfalls, swimming in remote waterholes or discovering Aboriginal rock art and wildlife.

Your days can be filled with dust, sweat and the exhilaration of station life or by simply enjoying a gorgeous lunch by a billabong, taking a sneaky quick dip at a beautiful swimming hole or discovering Aboriginal Rock Art, all in this stunning outback country that Bullo River Station is situated on.
